Duncan Tappy increased his pace yet again this weekend at Thruxton in his 1800cc Mygale SJ04 Formula Ford. He worked with his team mate to get the best from their set-up at a circuit that’s tough on tyres.

Duncan Tappy hit a steep learning curve at Croft today when he had his first experience of a full wet race. The experience held him in good stead for Race Two when he tackled the slippery track and stepped on the podium in third.

Duncan got his 2005 UK Formula Ford campaign off to a superb start at Donington Park, leaving the Derbyshire venue sharing the joint lead of the championship with his team-mate Charlie Donnelly.

In pre-season testing at Donington Park last week and Croft this week, in both wet and dry conditions, Duncan topped the time sheets of all the Formula Ford drivers there – very impressive as he has never even been to Croft before!
